Okay, first off I have to say how fun is this! (I’ve never done a fashion board for one of my characters.)
I think the fashion of Quinn Montgomery is quite eclectic. Really, she’s just a normal college girl and I think this first look is what she wears on a daily basis, going to class and hanging out with her friends.
He sits up, laughing, and extends his hand to me. “I’m Torrin.” I just stare at it because people usually expect me to shake their hand and when I don’t they get this stupid deer-in-the-headlights look and I find that amusing.“Quinn.”Stupid look. One point for me. He scratches his temple. “So, Quinn…is there a fashion trend I don’t know about?”“Fashion trend?” There’s no way he’s talking about me. I’m dressed completely normal—dark jeans and a cute striped sweater I stole out of Nikki’s closet. So I glance at his outfit: faded jeans and a T-shirt with some undecipherable sports logo on the front. Typical guy outfit, same as Loyola boys wear when traipsing from class to class. I meet Torrin’s gaze. He grins and points at my chest. “Your sweater’s on backwards.”I peek down. My hair covers my face. The tag is sticking out under my chin. “Jesus.”“Thought maybe you meant to wear it like that.”
This second outfit is what Quinn wears to her job.
“It’s show time,” the deep voice booms after a knock. “Ready?”“No,” I whisper, and then open the door. Standing here in a bubblegum-pink robe feels all wrong. Like wearing pajamas in a grocery store. A bathing suit in the library. Hunter’s already limping down the hall. I follow, walking fast.
This last outfit is something similar to what Quinn wore on her first “date” with Torrin.
Nikki spins from her closet, holding up a char-coal-colored V-neck with a look like she just sniffed rancid milk. “I will not let you leave this room, for a date, looking like the tip of a pencil.” She swaps the shirt for a black lace top. “With jeans and heels it’ll be perfect.”“It only has one sleeve.”“It’s sexy. Now put it on so I can do your make-up.”

College freshman Quinn Montgomery will do anything to avoid the mistake her sister made—killing herself over a boy. But when she is forced into nude modeling at a local college to support her family after a bankruptcy, she begins to crack, just enough to let Torrin, the university’s top varsity oarsman, see that the real Quinn is not as feisty and unapproachable as she wants everyone to think. But letting someone in comes at a steep cost and, it turns out, Torrin is connected to Quinn’s family in more ways than she could ever imagine.
