Layla has had a hard life. On her own at a young age, always having to do what needed to be done just to survive. Now she has two other people depending on her and she needs a job fast before they get evicted. A job interview introduces her to Jesse Thornton, the delicious drummer for Demon’s Wings. He reminds her of all the mistakes of her past, but is also her hope for the future.
Jesse has never let anyone in. The only real family he has ever had are his band brothers and Emmie—the only woman he has ever loved. But then Layla comes into his life and he would do just about anything to get one taste. Can he move past his own insecurities and allow this woman into his heart?
2nd book in the series. Jessie & Layla's story.
Emmie needs a housekeeper for her 4 guys and herself and their new huge house. Layla enters their lives being hired as the new housekeeper and is living in the guest house with her 2 sister's that she has custody over. Layla & Jessie are instantly drawn to one another. He wants her with a passion that he does not understand. Layla is fighting the attraction to Jessie because of her mother's history with men and the ROCKERS of the world.
As time progresses so does Layla's relationship with Emmie and all the guys. Layla's sisters Lucy (6) and Lana (17) are both welcomed into the family as well. Lana is intrigued and drawn to Drake. Drake is fighting with himself for the feelings he is having for this young 17 year old girl. He is 13 years older (31) and 17 is just not acceptable. They are both stating they are just friends but everyone can see the attraction they have.
Emmie has the baby (Mia) and Jessie wants to move forward with Layla. Layla and Emmie became really close friends.
This is another good feeling story. As the stories take place I am more and more interested in Drake's story so I am thinking that will be book #4 but I need to know about his past. We know Jessie's, Emmie's and a little bit of Nik's but Shane & Drake no nothing about.
Onto book #3
