The last one to fall… Sam Reed is the only brother in the Reed family who hasn’t fallen head over heels in love. He has a promising contract to play professional football, but something is missing. Sam likes to watch cooking shows, snuggle on the couch, and he wants someone to do it with him. But with his go-getter lifestyle, it’s almost impossible to find the time to get to know one woman. That is, until he meets the one who makes him want to change his whole life. A fake name and a world of hurt... When Peck was twelve, she was called by a different name, lived with a different family, and had no prospects whatsoever. But now she finds herself the drummer in an all-girl band, makes more money than she ever dreamed possible, and she’s content. Until the day her birth mother shows back up. Fame. Fortune. Stardom. Neither of them wants it. They both have it. But can they have more? *** Recommended for adult readers only due to adult situations, sexual content, and adult language.

Sam is the last of the Reed brothers to fall in love.....

Peck is the 1st of the Zeros to fall in love....

Peck was adopted along with her sisters. They all come from broken homes of some kind. Although we do not get everyone's story here, only Peck's. Peck and her sisters are in a band called The Zeros.

Sam is home with a knee injury until he can return to Pro football. Peck and Sam meet through Emily who knows the band. And the band lives in Logan & Emily's building. The moment Sam sees Peck he wants her. Peck cannot believe that Sam is giving her the time of day. Peck is 5'11" and very curvy with a large butt on her. Sam is very interested. He likes the curves and already is very smitten.

Peck has some serious issues involving her birth mother. Her birth mother shows up unexpected and now knows where Peck lives. Peck is not ready to talk to her so Sam convinces Peck to stay with him until she can figure out what she wants to do.

While staying with Sam, Peck and Sam become very close. Sam tries to explain to Peck just how much he really likes her. He tells her that he does not want to push her into anything but loves spending time with her, talking to her, even just having a meal with her has been awesome. Peck needs a bit of convincing and a lot more trust. Sam works his magic and Peck finds herself falling for him.

The Zeros go back on tour. Sam is missing Peck like crazy. Sam surprises Peck and they spend some quality time together before Peck has to leave the next day on tour again. Sam and Peck have a misunderstanding and Sam leaves. Peck texts and calls Sam constantly but he won't answer her. Sam is healed and returns to football. She finally has a chance to speak to Sam and try to get him back. Sam knows he was a dumbass and is afraid to speak to Peck for the fact that she should never speak to him again after the way he acted.

Logan has a very important change in his life that effects all the people in his life.

The clash between Peck and Sam was really dumb on Sam's part. To be honest I felt like he should have known to 1st explain why he is asking such crazy questions and then remember that those tabloids make up crap all the time. Peck trying to explain herself after she figures out the misunderstanding should have just said forget the jerk. I mean Sam should have called her back and said he was sorry that he misunderstood not be more of a jerk and not speak to her. Obviously Peck was still trying to have some kind of a relationship with the big dummy. The ending was good and I liked Logan's reason for changing his life. It makes since. One of the things that pulled me into this series was that Logan the main Reed brother in book #1 was deaf. I loved that he was the 1st focus. I'm not really sure way I fell so hard for Logan's character but I was pulled in and have read every book in the series thus far.

The author states that she will be writing more in the series with the new characters of The Zeros and I cannot wait to read those as well.

Happy Reading!
